The Christmas concert, which combines the ancient past and the creative present, offers Christmas liturgical and folk Ruthenian songs performed by Dominika Novotná and the AMC Trio band. We bring you an hour of joy from the CHRISTMAS CHRIST (birth of Christ).

You may also know her as the founder of the well-known Ruthenian Trio, which became famous in the first series of the folklore show The Earth Sings. a table full of traditional Ruthenian dishes, a child's great curiosity, what is hidden under the tree, and in the church pouring out the Nativity of Your Christ, our God! This is how I remember Christmas. Polyphonic church chants of the Eastern Rite shaped my relationship to singing and our Ruthenian folklore. Carols are among the most popular songs in my repertoire and are a natural part of every Christmas," recalls Dominika Novotná.

AMC trio is a Slovak jazz formation that was founded in 1993 in Prešov. Its original and current members are Peter Adamkovič, Martin Marinčák and Stanislav Cvanciger. This new collaboration represents a fusion of great musical contemporary art and Ruthenian tradition in the form of gentle female singing.

The concert is organized by 2idealists s.r.o.
