About event
Special election edition of the Mennonite Conversation
In the run-up to the elections, we are organizing a special edition of the Mennonite Conversation, with Karel Smouter, journalist and editor-in-chief of Trouw.
Journalism and democracy are inextricably linked. As a news organization, how do you navigate a deeply divided political landscape during election times? How do you safeguard your independence and remain neutral? And how do you deal with racist or anti-democratic statements?
On Tuesday, October 14, two weeks before the elections, we will discuss these urgent questions with Karel Smouter. An excellent opportunity to gain insight into the role of journalism in our democracy.
