About event
The exhibition Bienále UMPRUM: Generation Z, which is held in cooperation with the National Gallery Prague, also brings a rich accompanying program. Visitors can look forward to guided tours, workshops and playrooms for children, or a performance at the opening ceremony of the NGP.

The UMPRUM Biennale Exhibition: Generation Z presents a cross-section of recent work by students across all departments of the school. It presents topics and approaches with which generation Z works, i.e. current UMPRUM students born between 1994 and 2004. It reflects the generational conditioning of these topics, the different experience, equipment and concerns of authors. It sensitively explores the aspects that connect it - erasing the boundaries between virtual and real, nostalgia for a world we will never experience again, searching and finding authentic identities and at the same time self-styling through digital media. Understanding what the emerging creative generation brings to the space of architecture, design and art can be the basis for mutual intergenerational understanding and cooperation both at the art school and outside of it within formal and informal structures. UMPRUM Biennale: Generation Z presents the entire range of disciplines and media taught at UMPRUM, from architectural creation and design to graphics, animation or fashion to liberal arts and art and design theory.
