About event
a) The Gang is a hard rock band from Bratislava, founded in 2013 by two brothers, drummer Dr. Evil and bassist Tom the Thunder. A year later, classically trained keyboardist Iggy the Reaper joined them. In 2016, the famous Slovak guitar magician Vadim Bušovský became the guitarist, and the lead vocals were taken over by the young and talented singer Dory, whose exceptional voice impressed the judges in the 2016 Rock Graduation band competition, where the band won third place. The first big success of the band is the release of the self-titled debut album at the end of 2017. The album received very positive reviews not only at home but also abroad. The band also began to gain fans in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, where they presented themselves for the first time by participating in the international band competition Líheň 2018, where they achieved a beautiful second place. The band performed at several festivals, e.g. Topfest or Dance of the Sun in Slovakia and Dočesna in the Czech Republic. She also performed in the legendary Lucerne in Prague as part of the Czech-Slovak Beat Festival. The band's biggest success so far is winning two awards: "Band of the Year 2018" in CzechParad on TV REBEL and "Album of the Year 2018" awarded by the Union of Authors and Performers for their debut album. In 2019, the band released their second studio album "Let's Get High Together".
The band's style is a mixture of hard rock roots, combined with modern sound and sheer energy, creating an explosive, intense and dynamic sound. The band follows the legacy of hard rock legends of the 20th century.
b) The Bratislava musical trio MissTerry was founded in 1992. The band collaborated with many bands such as Money Factor, Tublatanka, Slobodná Európa, Hex and played hundreds of concerts. In 1994, former Modus guitarist Miroslav Šulc and Fermat keyboardist Martin Hanzel strengthened the group. In this composition, the group took part in the Marlboro Rock In ´94 contest and subsequently ended its activities. In 2024, the group resumed its original composition and recorded a CD, for which it is preparing a tour as support.
