About event

Can the dance correct our ties to the ground and connect us intimately? Lush Blast is a walking production in a city park that examines the relations between natural and artificial, wild and domesticated and cultural representations of nature. Four performers*Ři perform viewers with different spaces and situations and ask what remains from the wilderness in Europe and in us. Using their corporeality and voices, they constantly transform their presence into an effort to become something other than humans and invite us to a sensual feast and a cruel battlefield. After staying in the Carpathian wilderness, choreographers want to articulate power again as vital strength, not as a tool of control. What if humanity gave up the control and exploitation of nature? What should be sacrificed to do so? Sxton, Ola Zielińska
