Can the dance be remedied by our land ties and connect us intimately? Lush Blast is a walking production in a city park that examines the relations between natural and artificial, wild and domesticated. Trees and limb trunks, crumbling mountains, vibrating chains. Four performers are accompanied by spectators through various atmospheres, from suggestive songs to sour humor, and asks what remains in us and around us from the wild. Using corporeality and voices, they transform their presence into an effort to become something other than humans and invite us to a sensual feast and a cruel battlefield. After staying in the Carpathian wilderness, choreographers want to articulate power as vital strength, not as a tool of control. Michalak, Alica Minar
