Talks:

Johnny Hooyberghs - What is new in .NET 9 and C# 13?

November 2024 marked the release of .NET 9 and C# 13. In this session, Johnny will talk about what is new in the latest version of .NET and what the future will bring for the .NET platform in general. Expect a large number of new .NET 9 and C# 13 features and examples of those features.

Roelant Dieben - What's New in EF Core 9< /p>

With .NET 9, we also get a new version of Entity Framework core. In this session, we will explore the new and improved features version 9 offers. We will explore the refactored Cosmos DB for NoSQL provider, dive into LINQ to SQL improvements, look at pre-compiled models, and much, much more.

Alex de Groot - Building Zero Trust secure APIs with .NET 9 and C# 12

The last 2 .NET versions have contained tons of goodies for the security minded engineer. In 15 minutes - using just code - Alex will bring you up-to-speed with the latest essential updates which make your APIs more secure and most of the time also faster!

Florian van Dillen -.NET, Dapr and Aspire

As a .NET developer, you will have either built distributed apps or heard about them. Distributed apps, microservice or not, come with a new set of complexities that you previously didn't have to deal with. However, those complexities are easily embraced by setting up a good local development environment.

This is where Dapr and .NET Aspire come in. We will see and run a demo app that demonstrates how to set up your local development environment and get started using these technologies.

With the launch of .NET 9, many interesting changes have been introduced that affect how . NET Aspire and ASP.NET Core work. We will explore them and see how they improve our code and daily work.

Expect a session full of code, containers and telemetry!

Register quickly, free access.

We ask you to adhere to the Code of Conduct, which you can find here.
