About event
The repertoire is diverse - soul, funk, rock - everything is possible: from Aretha Franklin to Tina Turner and Gregory Porter to the Black Pumas & The Black Eyed Peas. The mixed choir always selects English-language songs whose lyrics reveal a critical and humanitarian attitude. For tolerance, diversity, equality and love, against hate, violence and environmental destruction, but also hope for a bit of personal happiness.
The choir director and arranger is Matthias Witting (among other things the musical director of "zeile 1" in Grips Theater).
