Celebration of harvest, demonstrations of grain processing including manual threshing and grinding, demonstrations of preparation of traditional cereal dishes. /Harvest Celebations Feature Folklore Groups, Traditional Gain Processing Demonstrations, Including Manual Threshing and Grinding, As Well As Traditional Gain-Based Foods. You will see harvesting and demonstrations of agricultural work and machines on Sunday 24 August 2025 at the Museum of the Slovak Village during the event. The folklore group Vajčovci from Horní Vadičova will be presented by the program “Making Holovnice”. The folk ensemble of the Jedľovina from Kysucké Nové Mesto will present the habits of the Hello -Veselica in Kysuelica and the folklorists will also join the harvest parade.

Visitors will also see demonstrations of agricultural work and historical machines associated with the collection and processing of grain. They will be able to get acquainted with the threshing of the grain on the threshing machine, cleaning it on Rajtar, cutting straw on a scythe cutter or running a stable engine.

Members of the Slovak Union of Gardeners Vrútky KB 22-68 will prepare an exhibition of varieties of seasonal fruits and vegetables for you as part of the cycle and will be happy to share their knowledge with you in gardening counseling. Traditional meals and refreshments for visitors will also offer a tavern from Orava Polhora.
