About event
Dragos
With his new work-in-progress show The Source of Sadness in November at the PUNCH L!NE Club Berlin
No one has mastered how Dragos can transform pain into punchlines and make his audience cry - luckily with laughter.
With well over a million followers, biting humor and cheeky charm, Dragos has long been delighting fans all over Europe. After his successful programs “Hungry Hungry Dragon”, “Best Case Scenario” and “The Schengen Special” – played in over 80 European countries – the Romanian exceptional comedian is now launching a brand new work-in-progress show: “The Source of Sadness”.
“The Source of Sadness” is comedy that touches, surprises and works faster than any therapy.
Dragos is light and dark at the same time: He charmingly digs into his audience's wounds, listens to their stories - even the sad ones - and transforms them into pure redemption and comedy gold. It is precisely this bittersweet mixture of bite and lightness that makes his performances unmistakable. No wonder that Grammy nominee Jim Gaffigan took him with him on a European tour as an opening act.
Born in Romania, honed in Singapore, stranded in Berlin and active on stages all over Europe: Dragos stands for comedy without borders. His shows are a wild mix of culture, emotional conflicts and the depths of humanity - exclusively in English, for an international audience.
