We invite you to the event DRAWí KRESLIARI✨
In Bratislava, in the month of May, the exhibition DRAWí KRESLIARI will take place in the premises of the Pistori Palace, which will present drawing as a dynamic and multi-layered medium of contemporary art. The project will offer a wide range of approaches to drawing - from ideation, sketching and designing, through drawing as an autonomous work of art to illustration, designer, intermedial, conceptual and experimental positions.
The aim of the project is not only the presentation of work, but also the creation of an open platform for discussion, sharing experiences
and intergenerational dialogue between established artists, students and the public. The exhibition responds to the current situation, in which the position of drawing in art education and practice is weakening. We want to emphasize its irreplaceable importance as a basic and universal means of expression.
DRAWí KRESLIARI project! it is conceived as an open laboratory - a space for experimentation, exchange of opinions and the search for new perspectives. At the same time, it supports budding artists and designers and strengthens their mutual dialogue within the artistic community.

The exhibition is complemented by a rich accompanying program intended for professionals and the general public.

➡️11. 5. from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Learn to see - a competition and workshop for secondary art schools focused on drawing and its challenges today. The event reflects the importance of visual perception in the era of digital tools and artificial intelligence and supports the development of drawing skills and professional discourse.
➡️15. 5. at 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Book of drawings – lecture Doc. Mgr. Dedicated to Emőka Vargová, a forthcoming publication on the teaching of drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, mapping the period from 2000 to 2025.
➡️16. 5. at 15:00 – 18:00 – OUT OF LINE – experimental drawing workshop led by Mgr. art. Andrey Rošková, who expands the understanding of drawing by the perception of space, sound and touch.
➡️23. 5. at 18:00 – 20:00 – Night of museums and galleries – guided tour of the exhibition with curators.
➡️28. 5. at 17:30 – the finish of the exhibition connected with the presentation of the catalog and a musical guest (main event).
➡️30. 5. – official end of the exhibition
Organization of the project:
The project is organized by the University of Fine Arts in Bratislava (Mgr. art. Martin Schwarz, PhD.)
in cooperation with the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of TUB in Zlín and the International Biennale of Fine Arts Zlín
(Mgr. art. Lívia Kožušková, ArtD.).
The project is created with the support of the Tatra banka Foundation and in cooperation with the Pistori Palace, where the exhibition will take place.
