About event
Hi everyone!
Join us on **Sunday, July 12th**, for a screening of [Drive My Car ](https://www.kinosvetozor.cz/en?cinema=3&hall=1%2C2%2C3&sort=sort-by-data&projection=52073)at [Kino Světozor](https://www.kinosvetozor.cz/en). The film begins at **19:30.**
You’ll find me (wearing a bright pink/flowery scarf) at the Kino Světozor café from 7 pm.
The highly acclaimed 2021 film, directed by Japanese filmmaker Ryusuke Hamaguchi, follows ‘Yusuke Kafuku, a stage actor and director, still unable, after two years, to cope with the loss of his beloved wife.' He ‘accepts to direct Uncle Vanya at a theater festival in Hiroshima. There he meets Misaki, an introverted young woman, appointed to drive his car. In between rides, secrets from the past and heartfelt confessions will be unveiled’ ([here](https://letterboxd.com/film/drive-my-car/)).
Come enjoy this screening and stay for a drink and a chat about the film afterward!
