Drama, Thriller, Crime Iran / France / Luxembourg, 2025, 102 min
It starts one night as a minor accident that brings together former political prisoner Vahid and a man in whom he recognizes his tormentor from prison. Although Vahid has never seen his face, he recognizes his step and the specific sound of the artificial leg with certainty... But is this certainty absolute? Bulletproof? Without much planning, Vahid embarks on a tragicomic sabotage operation that brings together former cellmates marked by the ever-present political will. Together they face the question that haunts many nations: can we exact revenge on a cruel system on the individual who serves it devotedly? The master of subversive Iranian cinema Jafar Panahi returns with a film inspired by his own experiences in prison.
