About event
Prague altpop rock band Dropdmic released their debut album Like a Deer In Headlights and are going on tour together with Brno altrock band Disonant and Pilsen darkpop rock band Koby Fray! The local band Whodo will play with them in Pilsen!
11.6. Clubhouse - Prague
12.6. Melodka - Brno
13.6. Vinyl Club - Plzeň
DROPDMIC:
Dropdmic is a Prague altpop rock band. It is a complex project of 6 musicians. In their self-produced
debut album - Like a Deer in Headlights, the band brings, for example, punchy guitar riffs, solos enriched with playful clarinet lines, and much more. A startled teenager wakes up to the adult world and processes what's going on around him. Like deer in the spotlight, the band presents to the world its five-year journey and the very stories and transformations of individual members.
DISONANT:
From quiet melodic moments to monumental walls of sound. A four-member group from Brno with a style anchored in alternative rock with elements of shoegaze and a wide range of other musical influences. The band is based on Czech texts with melancholy motifs and music with a sense of atmosphere.
KOBY FRAY:
Four-member band from Pilsen. The peculiar mixture of rock and pop with the influences of a number of other genres (metal, rap, electronica, ...) is especially connected by the dark and melancholic atmosphere of the songs. The texts, mostly in English, deal with deeper topics - psychological, personal and social.
