Ondřej Kyas: THE SECOND CITY
Opera in two acts based on the novel of the same name by Michal Ajvaz – semi-stage performance.
A strange book from a Prague antiquarian, written in an unknown script, keeps the main character awake – bit by bit he reveals hidden secrets of the Second City and tries to understand its meaning. The longer he unravels its clues, the more the mysterious city consumes him.
What is hidden in the center of the city?
Will he survive the fight with the shark on the church tower?
Will a man and a woman swim to their dream beaches?
Will the green tram arrive?
