About event
"Information. Who ever said it should be true? That's not enough, it's not enough, that's boring. ”
We all have some truths we believe, but other people do not believe in them. We need this basic beliefs to protect us from a flood of information that we have to face every day. They act as a defense mechanism against the feeling that we live in a world that we do not understand at all.
The relevance of the available information should be guaranteed by the relevance of their provider, but the consumer's claim always corresponds to what he wants to believe, not whether their source is verifiable. Disinformation thus becomes a very effective tool for manipulating public opinion. They divide society, generations and families.
The author's production is freely inspired by the book by American psychologist Dan Ariel's absurdity dealing with the question: "Why seemingly rational people believe in completely irrational truths?" Our fabulators satirically look at the environment of the Czech household and uncover the ills of the beliefs of its members who pass generationally.
Starring Barbora Laurence Vágnerová, Martina Jindrová, Antonín Brukner, Marek Frňka, Petr Kult/Petr Matyáš Cibulka Sztagrýnová
Music: Martin Polidar
Production: Judita Brodská
