Duel cimbalu a marimby a pocta bratislavským mostom

On the program of the concert of the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra on 14 November in the Great Concert Studio of the Slovak Radio in Bratislava - with the exception of Adrián Demoč's composition - the works of four female composers will meet, offering an interesting confrontation not only of female composers, but also of work with different media. Haimoni Balgavá and Barbora Tomášková will offer two forms of grasping string material, the second of which also uses electronics. In their work, the other two ladies, on the other hand, go with gusto to the limits of what is commonly referred to by the phrase "serious music", although each from a slightly different direction. In her orchestral suite, Martina Kachlová pays tribute to five Bratislava bridges, Lenka Novosedlíková transforms the lively energy of her compositional expression into dialogues between an unconventional pair of concert instruments - marimba and dulcimer - and the orchestra. All this under the hands of the experienced conductor of the Brno Contemporary Orchestra, Pavel Šnajdr.
