About event
Dušan Vlk is setting off with his musical brother and producer David on his most personal yet first major solo tour. The fresh project East Side Solitude will be heard for the first time across cities all over Czechoslovakia and we will also see it in Záhrad.
Currently one of the most prominent figures of alternative rap on the Czechoslovak scene. Dušan Vlk's music is a fusion of several genres and subgenres, but it is best characterized by punk, phonk and trap - he often wraps all these elements in a melancholic LO-FI aesthetic. The musical background is appropriately complemented by raw and honest lyrics that openly reflect his frustration and anger at social conditions. It is the high-quality lyrics that make his work not only "music for young people", but can appeal to all age categories.
In addition to the compositions from the new album, he will also play older ballads about the life of slightly alternative artists in post-communist Central Europe. On the tour, it will also be possible to purchase merch from Dušan's family workshop PINKWATERGUN (PWG), which was produced exclusively for the SWEET SOLITUDE tour.
