Dear friends,
I cordially invite you to the celebration and connection with the ancestors of Dušička, which takes place on 31.10. from 5 p.m. in the ancient Slavic place of our ancestors in the Prokopské údolí Klukovice by the official fireplace.
These days the imaginary wall between the living and the dead becomes thinner and we can therefore not only see our loved ones, but even them visit. It is the time of magic, when the laws of time and space cease to apply. In our world everything is put to sleep, and in the world of spirits and immaterial beings it is busy. These are the days when it is possible and even necessary to connect to our ancestors, to the long line of our family, tribe and thank them for their support, or ask for anything. In this atmosphere, it is desirable to light the light/candles.
This time is a holiday of quiet contemplation, calming and forgiveness.
From this moment on, Veles, the ruler of the endowments, fully rules.
What awaits us:
- raising fire
- connection with our ancestors in both ancestral lines and silent meditation with them
- burying in the ground a gift for ancestors - an apple
- in the sacred fire we can burn our errors, mistakes and everything else , which no longer serves us
- Slavic songs and a feast
What to take with you:
- two candles (one for the male and the other for the female lineage)
- an apple as a symbol of life and immortality - we will offer it as a gift to the dead
- homemade goodies for the ancestral altar and for the feast altar
- suitable clothes
- musical instruments
This the event is suitable for families with children.
The ceremony will be led by:

The recommended contribution is 300 CZK (the contributions will be used to cover the costs of the celebration and you will also support our organization in the further development and research of our traditions)
