Come and experience Burning Man on your own skin! 🔥
Starting on November 8, 2024, the exhibition of Mark Musil's Dust&Light photo series, which captures the unique atmosphere of the legendary Burning Man art festival, will start with its opening.
You will see how a small ritual on the beach became a global event where people meet of all generations and social status to create, share and live together in the temporary city of Black Rock City.
Photographs will be on display in the Exhibition Hall of the University Library in Bratislava as part of the festival www.mesicafotografie.eu

Marek Musil was born in 1974 in Kroměříž. He first laid eyes on the lens during his travels in Israel in the late 1990s. After returning to Prague, he worked as an assistant to commercial photographers and subsequently traveled to the USA, where he expanded his skills to include portrait and fashion photography. This is where the Underwater Emotion series was created, a collection of underwater photos from a pool in South Florida. Another successful exhibition set is undoubtedly BCKST Fashion Week capturing the hidden backstage of fashion shows. In 2017, he presented the specific American subculture of the Burning Man festival in the Dust&Light photo collection. Musil's handwriting is characterized by its rawness, playfulness and liveliness.
