About event

That there can't be a good concert on Wednesday? Ts, you haven't been in our hold yet. Oh, what a combo we will see on the small stage.

DVA (Jan Kratochvíl and Barbora Ungerová) have found their place in 18 years of activity on the Czech and international scene. The band transcends the boundaries of established musical genres and literally speaks its own language, which only it understands, yet it managed to gain many fans around the world.
The duo was born in 2006 from Divodlo DNO, where both of its members previously worked. The first studio album Fonók was released in 2008 and brought the band its first enthusiastic responses not only on the Czech music scene. For the follow-up album HU (2010), they won the Anděl award in the alternative music category. Their third studio album Nipomo (2014) was released in the USA under the independent label Northern Spy, and as part of the tour, the band traveled throughout Europe, the USA, Australia and New Zealand for two years.
In the years 2016-2021, the duo intensively devoted themselves to music and sound processing of computer games. They already collaborated with the game studio Amanita Design on the game Botanicula (2012), for the music of this game they received the "game oscar" Excellence in Audio Award IGF in San Francisco. They continued to work with Amanita Design on the games Chuchel (2018) and Happy Game (2021). They also participated in the music for the games Attentat 1942 and Sloboda 1945: Liberation from the game studio Charles Games, which won a number of awards for both works.
In 2023, the band Dva returned to playing live and recorded the fourth studio album Piri Piri in the Jámor studio, on which the British producer Timothy London collaborated with the band, who had previously produced, for example, several records of the band Young Fathers.
Daždoviek & Vlčia Mačica.
Samčo, the rain brother is a prominent fixture of Slovak experimental music with a well-developed feeling for finding and reflecting on various Slovak oddities, which would at worst remain hidden forever or at best be hidden from the wider public. Also thanks to Samuel Szabó's music albums, videos, lectures and revealing texts, they remain alive in various collages, compilations and reinterpretations, making even better visible what many Slovak citizens prefer to cover their eyes. Samč's insertion of everyday social events into absurd contexts, bizarre commentary on reality, lo-fi aesthetics and artful movement on the sonically "genreless" edge appear in many cases as a healing, fresh and above all current trend within the entire Slovak music scene. His discography offers plenty of surprises, fun from the unconnected and blood-curdling documentary audio recordings.
