Wavity:
Atlas bushes:
Barbora Müllerová maps non-places on the edge of attention in her poetry collection with photographs by Nora Třísková – urban wilderness, vague terrains, graveyards and bushes along roads. In spaces where the asphalt cracks and fragile stems of weeds push through, he finds small stories of their human and non-human inhabitants.
The bush atlas is not only an observation of neglected places – it becomes a mirror of social events, climate change and personal coping with the death of a loved one. The book carries a message of hope and renewal: just as the life of elderberries and blackberries grows on scarred soil, a person can sprout again - differently, elsewhere, maybe later.
