Earl Sweatshirt en Barcelona

Few more fascinating stories in the hiphop of this century than the character arc that has followed Earl Sweatshirt. If it was a kind of little brother within the Odd Future collective when Tyler, The Creator invited him to join his crew in 2009 (so young was that he disappeared from the map for almost a year and a half when his mother sent a boarding school in Samoa) to become the spiritual father of a whole generation of rappers who, in his image and likeness, conceive the genre as an imperfect and defective reality. Between one moment and another, between the teenage MC that emerged on the Internet three years ago and the modern successor of MF Doom that is now, Sweatshirt has lived several lives. And he is still just over 30 years old. From contemporary game rap, Earl Sweatshirt will return to Barcelona on February 19 to present Live Laugh Love, his fifth album, in Apollo Sala.
