This comes from New Zealand Heavy psych-rock duo Earth Tongue has become known for their mind-altering, cult-like live performances. With just two people on stage, their sonic power, intricate world-building and rich visuals have taken them on a seemingly non-stop tour in recent years. Guitarist Gussie Larkin is a master of fuzz-laced riffs, and along with Ezra Simons' off-kilter drumming, they've been transporting audiences to transcendental states since their emergence in 2016.
Einseinseins, a trio from Berlin, fuses Krautrock, post-punk, wave and 80s pop into something unusually new and yet familiar. Their music crosses borders and cannot be easily assigned to a genre. The self-released debut album is more reminiscent of bands like Can or Hawkwind, but played by punks who like video games.
