📖 Meeting with Anna Buzzoni
Presentation of her new book
📘 “Menstrual Ecology” (Mimesis, 2025)
in dialogue with Roberta Chimera
Anna Buzzoni will guide us to discover a new way of looking at the menstrual cycle: not as a limit, but as a precious key to understanding us themselves and our natural balance.
In Menstrual Ecology, Anna Buzzoni – former author of This is the cycle – invites us to revolutionize our perception of the body and time. By putting the menstrual cycle at the centre, the book offers concrete tools to recognize its phases, listen to its signals, and above all understand it not as a weakness or something to manage so as not to "ruin our lives", but on the contrary as a precious key to understanding health and daily life.
Anna Buzzoni (Ferrara, 1979) began a course of study on the female fertility cycle in 2014 and in 2018 received, as the first Italian, the qualification of Sensiplan® teacher, the German scientific method for hormonal health and natural contraception. In 2017 he opened his consultancy business in Berlin with the Studio Medulla project. For Mimesis he published Questo è il ciclo. From orgasm to the moon: natural cycles and menstrual ecology (2022) with his interdisciplinary research on life cycles.
