We are happy to announce that Kaap will transform into a stage for Ecstatic Dance every Wednesday evening from Wednesday 27 November. This is an invitation to immerse yourself in a world of music, dance and free self-expression in a unique free space in Amsterdam (With free parking). A place to be yourself and to connect with yourself and with each other.
For this edition we have invited DJ Bravon to guide us, because of his deep and enthusiastic love for Ecstatic Dance. His musical taste can be described as uplifting and melodic, exploring many genre’s, classical to electronic music from all over the world.
As a DJ he invites you into a never ending dance, a journey that unfolds right in front in you. His gift is that he can sense what the dance floor needs like no other, combined with his profound musical taste, his performances are unique, every single time.
Ecstatic Dance Guidelines:
Ecstatic dance is a magical dance and music journey on a two-hour set by one of our DJ’s. It is both a journey with yourself and with each other, without talking. This allows you to go deeper into your body and make more and better contact with it. This is one of the essential differences with a normal dance or club night. Because you do not fall into talking or chitchat, you can literally end up on another layer or in another dimension and discover other parts of yourself and others. At times even in total ecstasy and bliss, without drugs and without alcohol, and barefoot. Free to dance alone or together. Will you come and create magic with us, play and experiment?
Wednesday program Ecstatic Dance Kaap from 18:00 – 22:00
18:00 – 19:00 walk-in + food + conscious bar
19:00 – 19:30 ceremony/opening
19:30 – 21:30 dance
21:30 – 22:00 walk-out + conscious bar
Practical
* Time: Doors open at 18:00 for a delicious fresh veggie soup (not mandatory, but definitely worth it!). The dance starts at 19:30 and lasts two hours. * Ceremony: Each session will be introduced and concluded with a ceremony at 7:00 PM, with which we can celebrate the energy of dance and the connection with each other.

Practical information:
* Tickets: €19.50 via hipsy or at the door (via QR code, so via smartphone)
* Soup: €7,50 in advance, €9,00 on location (served until 19.30).
* Extras: Enjoy an atmospheric fire pit outside and the opportunity to relax in the sauna. In addition, we have some surprising extras that you must experience for yourself!
