Join us for the next education session on October 22nd at 20:00 when we talk about the Be Manly Movement, a conservative Catholic initiative in Croatia, and its broader implications.
The session will be divided into two parts: first, we will examine the movement’s goals and the connection of “masculinity concept” with religion. Secondly, we will explore the political connections and global influences behind the movement.
The Be Manly Movement revolves around men publicly kneeling to promote traditional values, advocating for a return to patriarchal norms, and opposing women’s rights, such as abortion and contrception. This movement is part of a larger global network, Vision Network (Agenda Europe), that seeks to criminalize LGBTIQ+ rights and restrict freedoms in various countries. Through different manipulation techniques like, they mask their discriminatory agenda as the defense of “family values.” Ultimately, this movement represents a backlash against social progress, endangering the rights of women and minority groups.
The education session is free as always, in English, no registration necessary. Just show up :)
