________
✨ Edúv Syn
No future, even if it could. He has already appeared on the stages of Akropolis Palace several times - for example alongside people like Berlin Manson, Fvck_kvlt or OGMiaG. Now Matej Myslovič aka Edúv Syn returns with a full-fledged solo show as part of the Pulz series. Slovak musician and multimedia artist based in Prague is one of the emerging underground stars who mix rap with punk aesthetics. In his texts, Edúv Syn strictly opposes consumerism, homophobia and social aggression. This is evidenced by all his singles this year, as well as last year's album Projekt 2023, on which he gave space to interesting Slovak and Czech female rappers.
________
✨ Gondor Flames
The Gondor Flames collective will head to Žižkov from the capture of 8 apartments. The Prague rap group has been rocking the walls of underground clubs since 2017. The sonic darkness and dirt is complemented by a sense of humor and the nostalgia of Czech country music. At the forefront of the Gondor Flames label are the Polák brothers, musicians and Lord of the Rings fans – Martin a.k.a Kurt, Kryštof aka Poskok and David as Rashid Bok. Their lyrics are full of Prague realities, social activism and unexpected pop culture references. In the Akropolis Palace, the experimental trio will perform for the very first time. For example, you can look forward to tracks from last year's EP so long, calypsó.
_______
✨ THC Luna G
The budding soundcloud rap clan christens its new album. In addition to combustibles, he mixes bars in his brass cauldrons. In the texts, they embark on a blunt but honest critique of current politics and the related fight for equality in the fields of ecology, sexuality and other weedy playgrounds of capitalism. Their flows are as diverse as the group itself, but if they agree on something, it is the desire to make mischief and mess, which is also reflected in their experimental approach to various genres.
_______Afterparty_______
✨ Ban Jarnet is a dry technical anagram of the real name. A similarly dry approach is reflected in his technical mixing on a 4-channel effects controller. Ban Jarnet is carrying around a 10-gram flash drive with him. Rhythm mainly without melodies, which is based on the modern UK club sound. She often makes her selection only from short pieces of songs and tries to connect experimental work with a regular clubbing party.
✨ Hrrhrrrhrrr is a DJ from Ústí nad Labem, a member of the SPEED DATE collective, Ústí pride, funny would-be curator at the tamtamtam gallery, artist studying at the Faculty of Art and Design. She likes to drink cheap crazy wolf energy drinks and that's what her sets look like - fast and furious. Vigorous kicks, techno kicks, tracks across genres and moods. He uses songs from FLINTA artists a lot, because it is important for him to give space to those who are not seen and heard as much.
_______
The dramaturgy of the 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗭 series at Akropolis Palace is a music publicist and presenter Radio 1 Vojtěch Tkáč. The evening will take place in collaboration with Akropolis Underground.
