About event
On January 8, 2026, the entertainer Marc Rudolf invites you to “An Evening for Hilde” in the Meistersaal at Potsdamer Platz. On the occasion of the 100th birthday of Hildegard Knef, who would have had her special day on December 28, 2025, Rudolf presents a touching chanson evening that honors the life and work of the great artist.
With his live band under the musical direction of Jürgen Beyer, Marc Rudolf takes the audience on a musical journey through the ups and downs of Hildegard Knef's life. The evening is divided into two parts: In the first part, Rudolf reflects on his role as an interpreter and provides an authentic insight into his personal connection to “Hilde”. In the second part, he delves visually, emotionally and musically deep into the life and work of the legendary singer and actress.
"An Evening for Hilde" not only promises a homage to one of Germany's most important artists, but also celebrates Marc Rudolf's 44th birthday.
