There Cologne, narrow old town streets, the cathedral as a fixed star of everyday life, Rhenish warmth, casual sayings, there Berlin, vastness, loud, angular. Here you don't wear a fool's hat, but rather an opinion.
Everything is leisurely and comfortable in Cologne, stopped in on itself or when it's spinning, then around itself. Berlin is pulsating, in constant rotation.
There's a cheerful “What's that then?” there “Well, what now?” Since non-binding, “drink another met”, here honest acceptance or rejection, sometimes harshly, but rarely hypocritically.
A lot of things are different, some things are surprisingly similar. There Veedel, there Kiez.
