About event
The regulars' table begins at 7:00 p.m. the ** lecture at 19:30 **.
We are confronted with statistics almost every day. But which people have dealt with it in the past and what were their triggers? That evening we see what the Guinness brewery has to do with the discovery of asteroids and personality traits. We also want to discuss why 200 -year -old methods do not suddenly become machine learning and what actual developments are.
** Robert Reggentin ** has a master's degree in education and is currently a doctoral student with the research focus on performance evaluation. Otherwise, he makes competence scaling in a Germany -wide school study and deals with the modeling of missing values.
**Format**
The Edutainment format "Skeptics in the Pub" originally comes from the UK and combines entertaining scientific lectures with discussion and socializing in a relaxed atmosphere.
For several years now there have also been regular series of events in German -speaking countries in Cologne, Vienna and now also in Berlin.
