________________
Faroese Eivør Pálsdóttir became a world name when her music featured in the Viking series The Last Kingdom 2015. But the spotlight was nothing new for the singer, who already in her teens achieved success in the Faroe Islands and close to international success.
"Trøllabundin" is the title of her most streamed song. The Faroese language is close to Swedish and "enchanted" is exactly what you feel when you hear her voice and music. Eivør has placed the barren and windswept Faroe Islands at the center of his artistry. Listening to her is like turning into a raven on a flight over the landscape and waters of the islands, right through Nordic history.
Norwegian multi-instrumentalist and blackgaze enthusiast Sylvaine joins Eivør as support.
