About event
As part of the St. Stephen's Days series, after the festive commemoration (18:40), we invite all those interested in a historical-literary presentation in the puppet hall of the cultural center. Reininger was not only an educator but also an active organizer of Hungarian literary life between the two world wars.
During the lecture we can learn not only historical facts, but also see through the personal destiny of Somorja for one of the darkest times of the 20th century-and the Hungarian community's struggle. He formulates a request for aid written for the protection of Hungarians in Czechoslovakia. The estate is today in the Hungarian National Museum.
