A weekend in which shared artistic practice, dialogue and time spent together are the focus: five artists who have appeared in the Radialsystem in recent years invite professional dance creators to bring their own working methods and experiences into a shared artistic resonance space. The four formats of “Embodied Practices Extended” can be visited individually or in combination and open up diverse possibilities for encounters and exchanges.
A network of bodies, gestures and voices unfolds between embodied archives of care, voices of lament and remembrance, movements of tenderness and practices of ecological mourning. “Embodied Practices Extended” is intended to make visible the often invisible, continuous work that sustains and holds artistic practice together. At the same time, it opens up space for what has not yet taken shape.
A meal together invites you to continue the exchange between the individual sessions. Visible and invisible embodied knowledge combine to form a space of shared attention – a place where practice becomes relationship, touch becomes insight, listening becomes action. Here, 'hosting' becomes the art of being together: open, permeable and in transformation.
Elisabete Finger
“Horses Forces – Embodying Archive Images”
Tatiana Mejía
“Resonating Practice”
Pol Pi & Nitsan Margaliot
“Variations On Tenderness”
Martha Hincapié Charry
“EARTH BODIES – environmental grief”
