We’re happy to invite you for a cozy Sunday afternoon fall gathering, co-hosted by @arcoiris_embroidery, @offthehook.bln and @spaceofhearts.studio.
Revisit that one special photo - a moment, person or place that holds meaning - and transform it into an even more meaningful memory, with details embroidered by you.
What to expect
You’ll learn how to:
- Neatly separate threads
- Make secure knots
- Apply different embroidery techniques
- Pick up practical tips
No prior embroidery experience is needed, beginners and everyone will be warmly welcome!
You’ll leave with your photo beautifully enhanced, full of color and handmade details.
What's Included?
- All embroidery materials (we work exclusively with upcycled fabrics)
- Step-by-step instruction and guidance throughout the session
- Coffee, tea, water and a homemade sweet treat
What you bring?
- A printed picture of your choice to embroider (and if you’re unsure which one to pick, feel free to bring a few options)

Who are we?
- Barbara is the embroidery artist behind @arcoiris_embroidery. “Arco-Íris” means “rainbow” in Portuguese and it stands as a tribute to diversity, color, and the freedom to be ourselves - reflecting the spirit of her work, which is rooted in safe space, activism, and up cycling.
- Michelle is the creator of @offthehook.bln, a Berlin-based collective that organizes small gatherings in handpicked spaces in Berlin for adults to spend more time offline again.
- Dri and Alex and are the owners of @spaceofhearts.studio, a creative hub in Charlottenburg that offers a space to bring people together in real life and make room for exploration.
