About event
The English post-hardcore band Enter Shikari is returning to the Melkweg! With almost ten shows under their belt, this group really needs no introduction.
In 2007, the British released their debut album 'Take to the Skies'. They put themselves on the map with their recognizable mix of hard post-hardcore, fast drums, dubsteppy bass lines and electronic sounds. Since that golden debut, Enter Shikari has certainly not stood still. Albums follow, such as Á Flash Flood of Colour' (2012) and 'A Kiss for the Whole World' (2023).
Support: Lake Malice
Lake Malice will be joining us this evening. The duo from Brighton consists of Alice Guala and Blake Cornwall. Their style is influenced by Japanese anime, and they write about personal experiences and old trauma. Lake Malice mixes hyperpop and metal in a unique way. This earned them two nominations at the Heavy Music Awards: for 'Best UK Breakthrough Artist' and 'Best Breakthrough Live Artist'.
