About event
The book Enter the Void is a newly created joint project of two artists and friends, Cyril Zikuška and Jakub Pavlík.
The nature of each of the authors is described within the book in a metaphorical gesture by motifs that have long played a role in the context of their work, such as "Cave (Jakub) and Horizon (Cyril)"
The project thus combines two different creative perspectives, which are inherent to the authors and their work. In the book, they meet in the form of author's photographs, which meet on two pages in various unexpected and random combinations, which were created thanks to the process of haphazardly assembling individual components. Each of the ten books created is therefore different from the rest and thus represents a unique original creating new dialogues and connections between the images and visions of both artists.
8 of the 10 original pieces of the book Enter the Void will be available for purchase on site. together with a selection of other zines and copyrighted prints by each of the authors.
