After 10 years of composing for strings and piano under the pseudonym "I am planet", Patrik Korinok releases a work under his own name for the first time in the form of an orchestral recording with compositions for string orchestra. Although this 17-minute EP is short in duration, it is a work strongly charged with atmosphere. Patrik's latest music is dedicated to the human soul. It captures the most beautiful essences of life, but does not escape from the more difficult aspects of existence. Rogue Wave is a sound reflection of life in its entirety - intertwined with light and shadows, where harmony is created precisely in their balance.
"Rogue Wave is old in soul, but modern in form. It is an intimate confession about the search for beauty, an excursion into a new, colorful world that my sons showed me, but it is also a statement about pain and sadness, the process of coming to terms with my mother's death. The EP Rogue Wave is becoming an important milestone for me, which defines not only my new musical direction, but also a completely new perspective when looking at life itself". National Theater Košice. Conducted by Bence Fazekaš, the concert master was Eduard Plachetka.
