EPIGENETICKÁ STOPA V PSYCHOTERAPII - online

The genetic information within us only partially determines our lives. By the way we live, we can fundamentally influence how genetic predestination is written into our everyday life, but also how it affects our descendants. At the same time, we ourselves are influenced by those who came before us, the environment and past events. We are talking about epigenetics, which deals with the topics of the functioning of genes based on the "way of life of a given individual". the main building blocks of our cells and regulators of physiological processes in our bodies. We will look at the effect of these regulations from the point of view of manifestations on our short-term or long-term behavior, mood and ways of solving life situations both within our life, family, and the wider community. We will touch on the epigenetic influence from the perspective of transgenerational transmission of trauma.

The workshop is aimed at elucidating the molecular biological nature of epigenetic regulations in relation to their neuropsychological manifestations, as a basis for supplementing the view of working with the client as part of psychotherapy practice.
