An interactive space where traditional art is presented as a cultural language and a form of decolonial resistance.
Silvia Lamaison von MigrArte Perú e.V. investigates how traditional crafts can serve as a tool to recover and celebrate ancestral knowledge. Participants will learn about colonial perspectives on art and crafts, analyze the historical impacts of colonization on indigenous and Afro-descendant cultures, and discover various craft techniques.

Ein interaktiver Raum, in dem sich traditionelle Kunst als kulturelle Sprache und als Form dekolonialen Widerstands präsentiert.
Silvia Lamaison von MigrArte Perú e.V. erforscht, wie traditionelles Handwerk als Werkzeug dienen kann, um das Wissen der Vorfahren zurückzugewinnen and zu feiern. Die Teilnehmenden werden koloniale Perspektiven auf Kunst und Handwerk kennenlernen, die historischen Auswirkungen der Kolonialisierung auf indigene und afro-stämmige Kulturen untersuchen und verschiedene Handwerkstechniken entdecken.
