Classics of the guitar repertoire.

David Strbac (Serbia / Spain) has been working internationally since 2016 Guitarist.

As a soloist, he won prizes in more than 20 international guitar competitions and completed his master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with honors in 2022. As part of ensembles such as the Cross Atlantic Trio and the Vienna Guitar Sextet, he has already taken part in successful European tours with a focus on Spanish and South American music.

During his musical training, he was repeatedly drawn to the most demanding pieces of the classical guitar repertoire under their spell. They represented a personal challenge that he had previously not wanted to face in a concert context, also for fear of not meeting the audience's expectations of his instrument.

This repertoire is both a confession of his ability to achieve this to interpret music adequately, as well as a sign of trust in the willingness of his audience to enjoy a repertoire that some people incorrectly classify as "too serious".
