About event
On November 29, 2024, the 18th edition of the International Festival of Homeless Theaters Error 2024 will take place in the Pistori Palace at Štefániková 25 in Bratislava. During this one-day festival, theaters from the V4 countries will be presented to the public.
This edition of the international theater festival will introduce various homeless and other interesting theater groups to the general public. In addition to the Slovak ones, the Pistori Palace in Bratislava will host theater groups from all the countries of the Vyšehrad Four and several special guests. Everyone who has the courage to present their views and experiences with this world is welcome.
The International Homeless Theater Festival Error is the only festival in Europe focused on theaters in which homeless people play and otherwise socially excluded or disadvantaged people. It creates a space where theater groups working with marginalized groups of the population can present original theater performances to the general public. It makes social issues visible, contributes to overcoming stereotypes and prejudices that exist against homeless people and otherwise disadvantaged persons, and helps in their resocialization process and inclusion.
With financial support from the Vyšehrad International Fund, the City Foundation Bratislava, city the Bratislava-Staré Mesto section, Todos, Nota bene, Jump Soft, Iny Design.
