Esence neznáma - Filip Gyurkovský, vernisáž výstavy

Underneath the masks that cover reality, there are disturbing and absorbing views. Continuous experimentation with realism and the rules of anatomical drawing based on expressive realism leads Filip Gyurkovski to deformation and the use of expressive strokes similar to Francis Bacon. Unlike him, however, he stays in monochromatic dreamy tones and for portraits. Therefore, the essence of the unknown and mysterious radiates from the paintings. In his latest works, he focuses on the use of a more expressive figurativeism, which he achieves through an abstract jumble of strokes and thick layers of color together with a realistic fragment. The author gives form to uncertainty and individual personification, which often lingers in our subconscious.
