🔷 We cordially invite the psychotherapeutic community to a conference on ethics in psychotherapy.
👉 In the Czech Association for Psychotherapy, we are convinced that the best environment for the development of sensitivity to ethical topics is to meet and discuss. In the dialogue, we want to clarify the meaning of this concept, the meaning of ethics and the way to treat it in everyday practice. Learn to ask instead of “Is it good?” The question “Is that good?”.
At the conference we want to focus not only on the result, but also on the process and let ethics gradually and with curiosity emerge from our current psychotherapeutic field. This is one of the reasons why we have decided on an innovative format, where we are starting the preparatory phase now - it takes the form of thematic discussions on an online discussion forum. The conference meeting will thus be the culmination of this joint work.

The preparatory phase is continuous until our conference meeting.
It seems difficult to explore ethics in ourselves. Therefore, we have proposed discussion topics in which we can always examine ethics in a certain context. The list of topics is not definitive, we will be glad if you nominate others. We will discuss these topics together in the form of a chat (on the Discourse platform). There are two variants of participation:
: Possibility to meet as a community after six years live, pleasant space with an emphasis on sustainability, dear society, small snacks, including a common Saturday community breakfast
🔷online - The hall, you will be able to enter and ask questions, we will discuss topics in smaller groups; But you have to cook coffee yourself and for lunch with colleagues*you will not go :-)

The conference is calculated in the education of psychotherapists, clinical psychologists and doctors. For CAP purposes, you can count 14 hours in continuous education, we have AKP accreditation - 8 credits, AKPČR/PHA/ŠA/91/2024 and CLK accreditation - 12 credits, event number 116077.
