About event
Research of traditional culture is currently an attractive theme of ethnologists or lay researchers. However, not everyone can work with resources, literary and historical sources or properly implement field research. A lecture by ethnologist Júlia Marcinová will tell you how to explore the elements in the field and today, what literature to reach and how to work with it will present memory institutions as an irreplaceable source of information. It will also affect the research of family lines and a way to popularize ethnology through literature.

Ethnologist, writer
studied at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (2010), where she also graduated from rigorous studies. She worked as a manager for the field of local culture, an ethnologist, worked at the Department of Mediaatics and Cultural Heritage at UNIZA as an internal doctoral student. She is currently director of the Regional Cultural Center in Žilina.
He is the author of several books about traditional clothing - what you pass through, another costume can be found - 2010, from the hill to the valley - 2012, traditional clothing in the Tokaj region in the 1st half of the 20th century - 2012; The world of fashion and elegance - 2024. She is the author of the research methodology Memory Institutions as help in researching traditional clothing - 2020. Her most successful book is clearly the title where you published, there milk ask - book about life, death and forgiveness.
She spent ten years in FS Rozsutec and is also the author of the annual monograph of the ensemble (and indeed, Rozsutec, in the fiftieth year - 2015).
