Eugene Ionesco: Zaradiť sa

I was almost fourteen when I was born. Therefore, I could more easily realize what it was about. Yes, I got the hang of it quickly. I didn't want to accept the situation. I didn't admit it. I just said it. They swore to give me satisfaction. To please me, they showed me some prairies, some mountains, some oceans, one celestial body. Those prairies weren't bad at all. I got carried away by them. But it was all a lie. People….everyone had a kind word in their mouth and a bloody knife between their teeth. Do you understand me?
