About event
Experience a proper film celebration with us! 🎊 On Friday, December 5, as part of EULAC Cinema Night, we will bring the film My Electric Dreams and a discussion.
ADMISSION IS FREE (you need to pick up a free ticket).
🏆 The drama I have electric dreams, the feature-length debut of Valentina Maurel, won more than fifteen awards, including the awards for best film, best director (Valentina Maurel), best actress (Daniela Marín Navarro) and best actor (Reinaldo Amien) in the international competition at the Locarno IFF in 2022.
The film will be directed by a Hispanic, Ibero-American and film professional Veronika Krejčová. The screening will be followed by a discussion, which will be moderated by Veronika Krejčová and will be discussed by:
Mgr. Judita Majerová, director of the Emergency Housing Facility / Safe Women's House
Mgr. Róbert Vavro, director of Liberate
Ria Gehrerová, reporter and editor of Denník N
Eva is a stubborn and restless sixteen-year-old girl who lives with her mother, younger sister and cat, but desperately wants to move in with her estranged father, on whom she hangs, even though he is going through his second puberty, balancing between the tenderness and sensitivity of teenage life and the ruthlessness of the adult world. This realistic picture is bathed in richly textured images soaked in raw sensitivity and unadornedly captures the fine line between love and hate in a world where aggression and anger intertwine with the vertigo of female sexual awakening.
