Pragovka Gallery invites you after the winter break to this year's first Open Studio, which this time will be dedicated to the Czech artist Eva Jaroňová. Open Studio will take place on January 28 at 6:00 p.m. We will meet in front of the gallery, from where we will go together to the new residential studio located in the EFactory premises.
Eva Jaroňová graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno (studio environment). She completed internships at LHI in Reykjavík and ASP in Warsaw. He works on the border of fine art, design and illustration. He publishes his paintings in the form of experimental zines (Kudla Press, Hurikán Press), exhibits them in galleries with overlapping installation and object (Galerie Kostka, Prague; Patyolat, Budapest; Galeria Studio, Warsaw) and also uses them to create textile design.
The themes of her work range from internal (phobias, anxiety) to global problems (climate change, utopian visions of the future, feminism). Black humor in them contrasts with the delicacy of watercolor painting.
If you are interested in learning more about her work, the residency program and our plans for this year, do not miss this opportunity and come and discuss with us!< br/>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
