Anti-gender movement gains strength in the last decade. However, the exploration of its global nature often deals with the research attention to Grassroot itself to activists. The author presents the results of her research in which she uses the socio-cultural theory of symbolic boundaries to analyze interviews with anti-gender activists. It identifies three ideologically different currents: religious, neoliberal and extremely right -wing populist. Each group uses different symbolic boundaries to delimit their opponents and other actors of the anti-gender movement.
