✨ About the exhibition:
I cordially invite you to Gallery Výklad! The artist Erika Mészárosová presents her first research exhibition entitled "Our rebel bread", which is part of her long-term project Women in the SNP. The exhibition pays tribute to the courage, sacrifice and determination of women during the Slovak National Uprising.
Gallery visitors can admire the art installation, period documents, photographs from research and historical texts by Eva Škovránková as well as the author. The exhibition offers an opportunity to look into the story of the partisan cook from Kunrád and at the same time presents the process of creating an ephemeral monument, which was realized in August 2024 at the foot of Domčica hill on the occasion of the SNP celebrations.
